Baron Roger de Cabrol was educated in France at L' Ecole des Roches and is a graduate of L' Ecole des Beaux Arts in Paris. His career began early as assistant to Salvador Dalí. His interior design training soon followed as he spent several years under the tutelage of his uncle Baron Fred de Cabrol, Valerian Rybar and Jacques Grange, three of the most legendary figures in decoration this century.
Included amongst the "100 Best of Architectural Digest" in 2002, as well as by House Beautiful magazine in their selection of "100 Interior Designers in America", New York & Paris based French Interior Decorator Roger de Cabrol is known for his versatility and his unique eclectic style. The ability of bringing varied elements into a harmonious unity is characteristic of the originality of Roger de Cabrol as an interior designer. He is able to recall and recreate the decor of another era and to adapt the past to the contemporary scene and vice versa, keeping all the elements of vanished grandeur but always careful never to indulge in a purely period decor.
Since the opening of his offices in New York, Roger de Cabrol--who is fluent in English, Spanish and French--has worked with an international clientele in Europe, South America and the United States. His work has been published in the New York Times, New York Magazine, Architectural Digest, House Beautiful, Elle Decor, Metropolitan Home, the Daily News, Art Space, Art News, The Washington Post, Pen Japan and in "INTERIORS, The 400 Greatest Rooms of the Century" by Phaidon Press-UK
